Job Description:
 We drive sustainable compounding growth by helping more people discover and find value in web applications and SaaS products. As Paid Marketing Manager of Product Growth, you are responsible for being well-versed in clients’ North Star Metrics and ensuring that campaign goals and KPIs are met using your successful paid marketing strategies. You should be an expert at paid search (Google/Bing) and paid social (FB/IG, Twitter), but ready to level up and become a true multi-channel paid marketer, by testing and learning on some unfamiliar and emerging channels (streaming TV, music, TikTok, etc). You will be accountable for all stages of paid marketing including strategy, execution, optimization and reporting for multiple clients across multiple channels. We focus on sustainable compounding growth, and understanding the benefits of growth loops over funnels, & strategizing how paid marketing campaigns can fit within these growth loops is critical to our success.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Develop paid growth strategies focused on improving user acquisition, virality, activation, retention, and revenue based on the clients’ North Star Metrics
  • Fully understanding client business goals and developing campaign strategy to reach these goals
  • Manage daily or monthly PPC spend to ensure each campaign meets the goals and does not exceed budget
  • Keyword research
  • Campaign set up
  • Campaign expansions
  • Keyword bidding
  • Support the develop text/image ads (we have a graphic designer to create any graphics for image ads)
  • Support the develop landing page(s) (again, we have a graphic designer for this, but will look for direction from you)
  • Support the conversion rate optimization (CRO) and experimentation team by suggesting experiments based on your performance insight
  • Report on key performance indicators and present results effectively to clients
  • Identify upsell opportunities
  • Research and stay on top of the latest tools and techniques in paid online marketing and form an opinion & stance on the relevance of these to client goals
  • Help to grow the department in the coming months/years resulting in switching focus from daily execution to team management & strategy

Preferred Experience

  • 3-4+ years of paid marketing campaign management experience, including both strategy & execution on Google Ads, Bing, Facebook/Instagram & LinkedIn (Twitter & additional networks a plus)
  • Experience in a growth marketing role managing paid campaigns for a fast-growing SaaS / product-led company
  • Google Ads certification
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written communication skills for writing ad copy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large ad spend across multiple clients
  • Capacity to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment
  • Deeply analytical and extremely proficient in Google Analytics, Google Sheets/Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.)
  • Impeccably high standards and work ethic
  • Highly motivated and a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to work independently, in support of the company’s and team’s North Star Metrics
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and innovative thinker
